Undeniably one of the premier furniture and homeware retail premises in Northern Ireland Sharpe Mechanical Services with assistance from Sharpe Ventilation Services were delighted to be appointed as the mechanical sub-contractor on this project.
The Home store is the first Marks and Spencer have opened in Ireland and it includes a table service restaurant which again is a new addition to their stores.
Working with the main contractor Wates Retail we were entrusted to supply and install all Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, General Ventilation and Controls within tight time constraints to meet the clients scheduled ‘go live’ date.
This was achieved successfully through strong team management led by Wates and supported by Sharpe and the other major sub-contractors.
The building has 4 zones with differing service requirements.
- Main Sales – Air Conditioning and General Ventilation
- Restaurant and Commercial Kitchen – Air Conditioning,
General Ventilation, Kitchen Ventilation and Plumbing
- Back of House & staff accommodation - Air Conditioning,
General Ventilation and Plumbing
- Stock Area – Heating and Ventilation
